When I first met Airforce Staff Sgt. Robert Timms, little did I know that his story was one of tenacity and triumph.
Robert battled cancer at the age of 21. He had to undergo multiple treatments including chemotherapy. "Everything you can possibly imagine happening during chemo is what happened. I lost my hair, couldn't eat and was weak and tired all of the time." Robert said. "I looked at all the people who had helped me, and really wanted the chance to give back."
Robert Timms is not just a Superhero; he is an inspiration to Cameo Courage and all the people that are blessed to meet him! Robert was with Cameo Courage in the beginning and assisted in so many ways to give back to all you fabulous people.
That is why we are excited to have Robert Timms inducted into the “Cameo Courage Hall of Fame”
